What changes have been implemented to help keep you healthy and safe?

Safety Protocols

• Members, guests and employees will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms and temperature checked upon entry to the center.
• Members and guests must wear face coverings over their nose and mouth when not exercising and in common areas. Face coverings can be removed while exercising. Please continue to maintain at least six feet of physical distancing at all times.
• Extra signs are displayed in the facility promoting proper hand-washing techniques.
• All purchases will require a credit card or house account charge. We will no longer accept cash

How we are responding to symptoms, exposure or a positive COVID-19 Test

• We immediately follow up with members or employees to gather more information.
• Affected areas of the center are cleaned and sanitized.
• Contact tracing is conducted for everyone who self-reports they tested positive.
• Notifications are sent to anyone identified as having come in close contact† with someone who reports a positive COVID test result.
• Quarantines are required in alignment with Illinois Department of Public Health and CDC guidelines and members must complete the center questionnaire to verify safe return to center activity.

†Close contact: Someone who was within 6 feet of an infected person for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period starting from 2 days before illness onset (or for asymptomatic patients, 2 day prior to test specimen collection) until the time the patient is isolated.

Cleaning Protocols

• We will follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines for cleaning.
• Cleaning crews will adhere to a continuous disinfection schedule.
• We will have an enhanced after-hours cleaning and disinfecting process.
• Extra sanitizer wipes will be available for member cleaning of equipment before and after every use.
• Extra signs throughout the facility will reinforce the cleaning of equipment. 

Physical Distancing

• Capacity restrictions will be in place based on state and local government guidelines.
• Equipment limitations will encourage physical distancing.
• Extra signs and space markings throughout the facility will reinforce physical distancing guidelines.
• Locker availability will be modified to encourage spacing.

Will the pools be open for use?

• Effective January 4, 2021, the pools will be opened.
• Pools are available for use by reservation only.
• Face coverings must be worn in the pool areas at all times.
• Face coverings can be removed when you are exercising in the pools.

How do I reserve pool time?

• Registrations will be accepted during the hours listed below.
• Monday–Thursday: 5:15 am–8:45 pm
• Friday: 5:15 am–7:45 pm
• Saturday – 6:15 am – 6:15 pm
• Sunday: 7:15 am–4:15 pm

Please stop by the Member Services desk at 847.535.7060. to register the day before your desired reservation.

Lap Pool

• One person per lane for individual reservations.
• Lap swimmers can reserve one 30 or 60-minute reservation.
• Lane 1 is closest to the locker rooms; Lane 5 is closest to the co-ed whirlpool
• Five lanes are available for reservation. No lap pool classes at this time.
• Members can sign up for one 30 or 60-minute time slot. For example, on a Monday, the first reservation begins at 5:15 am.
• Snorkels are not permitted in the lap pool, unless approved in advance in the reservation system.  We are accommodating the use of snorkels through the reservation system by calling the front desk.

Therapy Pool (30-minute or maximum 45-minute reservation per day)

• Face coverings must be worn at all times in the therapy pool.
• Limited to 5 participants for individual reservations.
• Members must clear the pool area after their reservation time is finished.  No congregating is allowed at this time.
• Early admittance to the therapy pool is not permitted.
• Therapy pool classes being Monday, February 8, 2021 by registration only.
• Members must shower before entering the therapy pool.

Will the saunas, steam rooms, and whirlpools be available?

• The saunas, steam rooms, and whirlpools are closed.
• We will continually monitor Restore IL and CDC guidelines to provide updates regarding the opening of the saunas, steam rooms, and whirlpools.

Will there be personal training, Pilates training, and nutritional coaching?

• One-on-one training and Private Pilates services will continue to be available.
• Please contact the center, or your personal trainer directly to schedule an appointment.

Are you offering Group Exercise Classes?

Land and aquatic classes are available for members by registration only.

Classes will resume with the following restrictions:

• Members must wear face coverings over their nose and mouth when not exercising and in common areas. Face coverings can be removed while exercising.
• Six feet of physical distance between each class participant
• Class sizes are limited, and registration is required. (*The number of class participants will comply with current Illinois mitigation guidelines.)
• Registration required by calling 847.535.7060 or TYY for the hearing impaired – 312.926.6363.
• Must arrive on time to ensure entrance or spot may be forfeited

Will the locker rooms and showers be open?

• Locker rooms and showers will be available for limited use.

Are you offering Massage Services?

• Massage services are available for both members and non-members.  Please contact the front desk at 847-535-7060 for more information.

What will be hours of operation be for the center?

• We will operate with normal hours which are:
• Monday – Thursday 5am-10pm
• Friday 5am-9pm
• Saturday 6am-7pm
• Sunday 7am-5pm.

Will the café to open?

• The Café is open from 7:30am- 2:30 pm Monday thru Friday for Grab n’ Go only.

Will the childcare area be available?

• The childcare area remains closed until further notice.
• We will share further updates through Facebook and email.

**Any of the aforementioned could be extended to meet updated CDC guidelines or Restore IL state mandates.
