Lose2Win: Winter Warrior Challenge
January 19 through March 1
Push your limits, have fun and compete for prizes in the Lose2Win: Winter Warrior Challenge. This program combines team-based weekly challenges with individual performance goals, giving you multiple ways to earn points, track progress and celebrate success.
How it works.
Participants will have the chance to win individual and team prizes. Individual prizes will be based off “most lean mass gained” and “highest percent of body fat lost”. There will be one male and one female winner, and each can only win one category. The team prizes will be based off most points earned during the 6-week program.
Individual Competition
- Must complete BodyScriptâ„¢ scans: Between January 12 and January 26 and between February 22 and March 1
- Prize: Two-month membership and $50 gift card
Team Competition
- Prize: $50 gift card per team member
Earning points.
Weekly points:
- Class attendance: 5 points per class
- Food tracking: 2 points per day (screenshots submitted weekly to lsinnett@nmhfc.com)
- 10K steps a day: 2 points per day (screenshots submitted weekly to lsinnett@nmhfc.com)
- Gym check-in: 1 point per day
- Weekly BodyScript update: 2 points per week (screenshots submitted weekly to lsinnett@nmhfc.com)
- Head-to-head team challenges: Winning teams earn 10 points added to their team total. Challenges must be completed during one weekly class session and be recorded by your trainer.
One-time challenge points:
- Fitness assessment: 10 points
- Personal training session, Pilates session or massage: 10 points
- Bingo Card activities: 2 points per square (12 squares total). 30 points if fully completed (Bingo card turned in to the Member Services Desk by March 1)
Bingo Card activities:
Complete any of the following (instructor or staff sign-off required where noted).
- Complete a fitness dice challenge at the Fitness Desk.
- Complete a partner exercise with a willing staff member.
- Walk a mile on the track or treadmill.
- Try a group exercise class (Instructor sign off required).
- Take a yoga class (Instructor sign off required).
- Accumulate more than 50,000 steps in one week.
- Complete the AHA recommended 150 minutes of cardio in a week.
- Challenge a willing staff member to a wall sit competition.
- Challenge a willing staff member to a plank competition.
- Challenge a willing staff member to a single-leg balance competition.
- Try a VOLT Guided Fitness workout.
- Have Fitness Desk staff check your blood pressure.
Cost:
$249 Members
- Includes a quarter-zip jacket and 12 small group training sessions.
