Effective Monday, June 10, 2024. Lap lane 5 will be a drop-in lane only. No reservation will be required to utilize lane 5. The current reservation system will remain in effect for lap lanes 1A through 4. Members and guests can reserve a swim lane for up to one hour per day.
Please review updates below:
1. Sharing swim lanes is encouraged.
2. Lap lane 5 is a drop-in lane only. Politely address current swimmer before entering the lane. The proper lap swimming etiquette is to ‘circle swim’ using a counter-clockwise rotation of the lane in use.
3. We ask that members be courteous and restrict their workouts to a reasonable time.
4. Pool reservations for Lap lanes 1A through 4 can be booked for the next two days as early as 8 pm the night before by contacting the front desk or downloading our app. A $35 no show/late cancel fee will be applied for members who do not show up for their reserved lap lane, and who do not cancel their reservation at least two hours before their appointment time.
5. If you cannot utilize lap lanes 1A through 4 during your scheduled time, you must cancel the reservation by contacting the front desk or canceling on the phone app.
6. Please shower before entering lap pool and warm water therapy pool.
7. Lap swimming is unavailable in select lanes during scheduled Aqua classes in the lap pool. Please see the Water Group Exercise schedule for details.
Occasionally, due to a system error, members may find themselves double booked in their reserved pool lane. When this occurs, the following options will be provided:
1) The staff at Lake Forest Health and Fitness will notify you via email regarding the double booking with another member for your scheduled time.
2) We will make efforts to secure an alternative time slot close to your original reservation.
3) If no other lane is available, you may choose to share the lane, utilize lane 5 or cancel your swim session.
We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and assure you that we are actively working to resolve the issue.

Members are responsible for their guests. All guests are required to pay a guest fee for each visit, register at the Member Services desk, complete and sign a Guest Registration Form and submit a current form of photo identification. Guests may use Lake Forest Health & Fitness Center a maximum of six times in a 12-month period. After six visits as a guest, they must become a member in order to continue using the club.
Please remember that you are required to sign your receipts at the Forest Café, Membership Services or FitKids Club™ when charging to your house account. Thank you for your compliance.
Members may request that their membership is placed on medical hold with the following restrictions:
We have received numerous complaints from members about other members using their cell phones on the fitness floor and in the locker room. Cell phones may be used in the café, library and lobby areas only. If you are observed using your cell phone outside of these areas, a staff member will politely remind you of our policy.
