National Wear Red Day® is Friday, February 2, 2024.
In February we don’t only celebrate Valentine’s Day – it’s American Heart Month®. This is a time to celebrate and protect the most important muscle in your body – your heart. National Wear Red Day® is a powerful reminder that millions of people are united for a common goal: the elimination of heart disease and stroke. Here at Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Health & Fitness Center, we’re not just raising awareness, but members who wear red will be entered into a drawing for a prize.
This day for all of us isn’t just about wearing red; it’s about taking action for your health. Heart disease is a serious threat, but it’s also largely preventable. By making small changes to your diet, exercise routine, and overall lifestyle, you can significantly reduce your risk. At Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Health & Fitness Center our fitness specialists are here to help you create a personalized plan to get your heart happy and healthy.
